As India crushed Pakistan by 89 runs in their World Cup 2019 encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday, Ziva Dhoni and Rishabh Pant enjoyed the game together in the stadium stands.
Rishabh Pant and Ziva Dhoni shared funny moments on Sunday as the two were seen shouting on the top of their voice during India’s high-octane clash against Pakistan.
Rishabh Pant, who had flown in to England on June 14 as cover for the injured Shikhar Dhawan, is not yet officially part of the Indian squad but he was spotted serving drinks to his team-mates during Sunday’s match.
Pant was seen entering into the dressing room wearing black tee and white jacket but he soon changed into Bhuvneshwar’s jersey to help out his team mates with drinks.
The wicketkeeper-batsman was not named in India’s 15 member squad for the World Cup but was later named as cover for Shikhar Dhawan who injured his thumb during the game against Australia.
Dhawan has not been ruled out of the World Cup as he is still under observation and thus Pant has not been part of India’s 15-member squad yet.
On Sunday, Rohit Sharma hit 140, Virat Kohli smashed 77 and KL Rahul made 57, before Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar picked crucial wickets to guide India to a massive win over Pakistan.
With the victory in Manchester, India have now a dominant record of winning all their 7 World Cup matches against Pakistan.
