An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter scale hit Indonesia’s Lombok region at 12:37 pm today, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
An initial USGS reading put the quake at a depth of 10 km.

Earlier in February, an earthquake struck off the Sumatra island in Indonesia at a depth of 10 km, the US Geological Survey said, according to a Reuters report.
